Motherwell assistant manager Ahmet Koc dropped in to a packed Davie Cooper suite at Fir Park for ‘The Big Well Society Quiz Night’ on Friday.
The night, part of a series of events organised by the Well Society, aims to bring our fans together, connect with the club, grow our revenue and add value to membership.
The quiz, hosted by comedian and Well fan Raymond Mearns, raised four-figure sums both for Well Society funds and in bar takings for the club.
In addition to the quiz, marketplace stalls from our friends at Motherwell FC Heritage Trust and sports brand Daft Laddie provided further interest to those attending.
In addition to prizes for the quiz contestants, a prize draw for attendees and those participating online saw a number of gifts handed out, including a match-worn Motherwell strip signed by Sondre Solholm, a £100 voucher for Glasgow restaurant Mharsanta and the jackpot – dinner for two with manager Michael Wimmer and Ahmet.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined the night, and look forward to welcoming fans to our next event – The Big Well Society Comedy Night with Des Clarke, Ray Bradshaw and Raymond Mearns on Thursday 27th March.
Tickets – £8 for members and £10 for non-members – are available here
