As part of the launch of ‘Our Club, Our Future’, our plan for the growth of Motherwell Football Club and The Well Society, we are committed to building a vibrant and thriving community of owners.
We have already made good progress toward this goal. A new Customer Relationship Management system is now in place, enabling us to engage with members in a more personalised way. This system will also support the upcoming launch of our new mobile app, which is scheduled to go live before the end of the current season.
We have begun developing a member education course to help inform and empower our community, launched a series of events and are creating a proposed new membership tiers and a benefits programme, created in collaboration with several Society members.
Our focus is now turning to the creation of a network of Motherwell-supporting communities across Lanarkshire. To achieve this, we’re planning to pilot the introduction of local Well Society member groups in the run-up to next season.
What are the local member groups?
These groups aim to provide members with a more personalised experience, fostering stronger connections, deeper engagement, and a sense of identity as part of The Well Society.
We know that many of our members join The Well Society to feel part of a community. However, there’s currently no structure to connect them within localised networks. Local Well Society groups will change this by offering:
- A stronger sense of belonging for members.
- Added value to your membership.
- A local support network for fans, especially those unable to regularly attend games.
Why are the local member groups important?
These groups will help us recruit and retain members in your area, while also creating new opportunities to connect with other Motherwell fans.
