Mrs Baillie's Bar

Grab a Friday night brew in the new Well Society Fan Zone before Hertha

It’s Friday night football under the Fir Park lights – and there’s nowhere better to kick things off than Mrs Baillie’s Bar – our brand new Well Society Fan Zone, opening from 5pm tomorrow night (Friday) ahead of our clash with Hertha Berlin.

Named after the pub where Glencairn and Alpha met in May 1886 to form Motherwell FC, Mrs Baillie’s Bar is a nod to our roots – and a toast to our future.

Located between the Phil O’Donnell and Tommy McLean Stands, this new fan zone has been made possible by the support of Well Society members through our recent events and fundraising programme. Despite delays from last week’s torrential weather, we’ve worked around the clock to open as promised. While some finishing touches (like internal painting) will be completed next week, we weren’t going to let the Scottish summer win this one!

So, join us for a cold beer and a relaxed pre-match atmosphere as we get set for a top European night at Fir Park.

Tickets are still available for the match, and the ticket office is open from 9am until kick-off – but please note there will be no pay-at-the-gate facility.

Look out too for our new trackside digital advertising boards, which will both drive revenue for the club and showcase the society and fan-owned Scottish football.

Well Society Directors Greg Anderson and Sean Baillie said:

“Mrs Baillie’s Bar is a real and practical example of what The Well Society is about – supporting the growth of our club, the on field teams, the off-field facilities, and bringing our fans together in new and engaging ways. It’s the tangible difference your new society board is making.

“But in the end, it’s thanks to each and every society member who supported our programme of society events. We’re just getting started, so watch this space.”

Keep an eye out for more events coming soon – and come raise a glass to Our Club, Our Future.
