Following a donation to cover player's wages in 2022, can you confirm how funds will be passed to the club in future?
A full review of the Society’s governance is underway. This will include a focus on donations and loans to Motherwell Football Club.
One of my friends is a lapsed fan who is showing an interest in returning. Would it be possible to get a free ticket for him?
There is not currently an ad-hoc free ticketing scheme in place to encourage lapsed supporters.
We are though proactively exploring ways to encourage more supporters to join us at Fir Park and we will consider this as an option. Previous initiatives have included encouraging season ticket holders to bring a friend for a fiver for a specific game generally towards the end of the season.
What costs will be incurred by The Well Society in the delivery of the new mobile app?
As part of our first strategic investment partnership with Social Jungle, there are no costs to the Well Society for the development of our new mobile app.
Will there be additional ongoing costs incurred by the Society once the mobile app goes live?
There are no additional ongoing costs to The Well Society related to the mobile app. The monthly server costs are being funded by Social Jungle as part of the partnership.
The vast majority of contributions to the Society are currently made via GoCardless, Paypal and Stripe. There will be no change to the payment providers as a result of the app. We expect contributions to the Society to rise over the coming years through the work we are undertaking within our membership workstream, transaction fees will rise proportionately as a result.
